Policy Statement

CRGI Solutions promotes a positive safety culture where safe behaviour is the norm and all staff feel empowered to raise safety concerns without fear of reprisal. Behavioural safety is everyone's responsibility.

Key Requirements

  1. All staff shall adopt safe behaviours and challenge unsafe acts or conditions constructively.
  2. Staff shall have the authority and obligation to stop work immediately if they believe conditions are unsafe.
  3. Near misses and safety observations shall be reported and used as learning opportunities, not occasions for blame.
  4. Positive safety behaviours shall be recognised and reinforced through toolbox talks and management engagement.
  5. Management shall lead by example, demonstrating visible commitment to safe behaviours.
  6. Safety concerns raised by staff shall be acknowledged, investigated, and addressed with feedback provided to the reporter.
  7. A just culture approach shall be applied: honest reporting of mistakes is encouraged, while reckless or wilful disregard for safety is not tolerated.
