Policy Statement¶
CRGI Solutions is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for all staff and stakeholders. We believe all work-related injuries and ill health are preventable. Our health and safety responsibilities encompass the wellbeing of our virtual workforce and our obligations as designers under CDM 2015 to ensure our engineering outputs enable safe construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Key Requirements¶
- Hazards shall be identified, risks assessed, and controls implemented following the hierarchy of controls for all work activities.
- All identified hazards shall be recorded in the hazard register and risk assessments kept current.
- Staff shall be consulted and encouraged to participate in health and safety matters that affect them.
- All accidents, incidents, and near misses shall be reported immediately and investigated to determine root causes.
- RIDDOR-reportable events shall be notified to the HSE within the statutory timeframe.
- As designers under CDM 2015, CRGI Solutions shall eliminate foreseeable risks through design where practicable, reduce residual risks, and communicate significant remaining risks in design outputs.
- DSE self-assessments shall be completed by all staff working virtually, with corrective actions implemented for identified issues.
- Site visits shall be preceded by risk assessment, with appropriate PPE provided and RAMS produced where required.
- Emergency preparedness and response arrangements shall be maintained, tested, and reviewed.
- Health and safety objectives shall be set annually, targeting incident reduction, training completion, and risk assessment currency.
